With Ascendent ID’s long range RFID readers and tags, automating the process of collecting tolls for bridges, freeways, and designated lanes couldn’t be easier. Since our tags can be read at speeds exceeding 70MPH/120KPH, Ascendent ID’s products eliminate the backup and expense associated with the labor-intensive process of manually collecting fares. Through the use of Automatic Vehicle Identification, authorized vehicles can bypass toll booths and keep traffic moving along busy routes. Tags with the optional security feature are disabled when removed from the vehicle to prevent unauthorized use.

Our hardware design allows integration of our readers with a variety of tolling packages or even with custom-designed systems. Besides traditional thoroughfares, our readers can be used by airports and other public facilities that charge taxis, buses, vans, and other commercial vehicles a trip tax.
